More computer problems over here and lots of being busy with non-computer stuff, but I've got a gift for you today, so read on!

I thought of a fun little project for my daughter's preschool teachers as an end-of-year gift. With my help she painted 2 terracotta flower pots and I designed some big paper flowers using the Spring Song patterned papers. Here's the proud soon-to-be kindergartner in front of her school! I forgot to grab my good camera, so camera phone will have to do.

And a closer look.... The little blue rectangle in the back holds a gift card and is attached to the pencil/stem with a ribbon and clip.

And here is some exciting news! Be sure to pick up the JUNE issue of Artisan Notebook (which you can pick up at Gotta Pixel) because it will include these flowers as a special printable hybrid gift!

I made matching cards for the teachers and crossing guard that included a big white rectangle for Cayley to draw a picture in, but I forgot to take a photo! She also handed out these little "calling cards" so that we can be sure to meet up with her school friends this summer.

If you'd like to make some little calling cards for your own little cutie, I've turned my file into a png quickpage-type file.

DOWNLOAD HERE

Sorry, no preview, but it's just the above card repeated 6 times with an empty photo space and no writing on an 8.5"x11" page for easy printing. :)

Long time, no post, but it's been a wildly busy week! This past week was birthday week at my house: my husband's and mine. And my good friend's little girl's birthday is today and always bake her birthday cake. So fun sweet-filled days around here!

I had such a nice relaxing birthday! We had a fun family day and spent most of the day roaming the local national park. Most of the photos are still sitting on my husband's camera, but here's one I snapped. So calming!

In celebration of my birthday I gave one of my dear CT members, Katie, three $5 coupons to give away! She started this thread over at Gotta Pixel and will randomly pick the winners tonight at 8pm ET! All you have to do is respond with what you'd use the coupon to buy.

I've got a new little release up, and you can grab it for just $1! My Feeling Sketchy alpha pack is casual, fun and looks like something you'd sketch out on a handy scrap of paper! The edges are roughly torn and can be digitally glued, taped or stapled to your layouts.

Pick up my alpha and so many other coordinating products by other Gotta Pixel designers at this month's Gotta Grab It event!

Just a teeny little post to let you know that at midnight ET another Gotta Grab It event at Gotta Pixel will start! I'll post my preview and give you the link soon, but wanted to let those of you who are reading my feed so you don't miss a day of the fun!

The tree trunk is from my Seasons of Change kit and I just added leaves to it. :)

Remember I told you that the layouts I made last week were going to be available as a prize to one of the National Scrapbooking Day events at Digitals? Well they are part of the giant participation prize for completing each day of the Treasure Hunt! It's already Day 5 but you can go back and complete all the previous hunts still and receive credit. :)

Another fun NSD event that you really should take a peek at is the Art Doll Challenge! I completed mine today with the help of my 4 year old daughter!

Hat, shirt, tutu (recolored), legs, butterfly wings and cupcake are all from the Art Doll NSD challenge prop provided free to participants by Beth Rimmer. Denim is from my Worn and Torn paper pack. All other background papers and flower stems from my Spring Song page kit. Sunflowers from my Fresh Picked Sunflowers Element Pack.

Here's your May desktop calendar! Just a quick post, but I wanted to get this to you before any more of the month slipped by!

Sunday is the last day to grab every single one of my products at Gotta Pixel for 40% off, and that includes Spring Song!!! (Find my Gotta Pixel Store HERE.)

And the Digitals fun runs all week long! (Find my Digitals store HERE)

Hope you have all had a fantastic National Scrapbooking Day! Most of the fun is still going on through the weekend so I decided to leave my portion of the Gotta Pixel pre-NSD blog train up, and some of the others are too. To find it, click right HERE.

This past week I finally found the time and motivation to scrap some layouts! I used my new Spring Song kit. The title on both is created with my Notepaper Alpha.

I got such a thrilling suprise today! This layout was chosen as Layout of the Day at Digitals today!

If you like these layouts you are in luck! They are set to be a prize for one of the fun NSD games at Digitals this week! I'll let you know just when you can pick them up, as soon as I know. :)

I've promised you a May desktop calendar, but the day just slipped away with NSD and family fun, so it will have to wait for tomorrow. See you then!
