I recently discovered the world of Yahoo Groups, and what a world it is! I've never gotten so many emails! There are groups to share layouts, groups for digital scrapbook ads, groups for tips--amazing!

I'm sending out ads every week with my new digital kit releases, so if you want me to send you my new releases/sales ads just send me a note at and I'll add you to my mailing list I promise I won't send more than one message a week unless there's a big sale. :)

It's Tuesday! And that means new release day at Digital Freebies!

I have an add-on to Cozy Blooms, some little 4x6 quick pages, and a Cozy Blooms Bundle! Here are the ads I sent out today:

I included a couple of these in the previews, but here are all my quickpages filled with my little cuties!

I'm working on another kit and have several more planned out plus some great kits from other designers I really want to work with, I just need to find more time!

Recipe time!

In honor of my Build-A-Cake crop coming up in about 30 minutes, I'm sharing a tasty little chocolate cake recipe with you all!

Click on the thumbnail for the full-size, printable version.

If you don't want to print it, here's the ingredients and directions. I always cover it in chocolate buttercream too!

Moist Chocolate Cake

· 2 cups all-purpose flour
· 1-3/4 cups granulated sugar
· 2/3 cup cocoa powder
· 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
· 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
· 1/2 teaspoon salt
· 1 cup milk
· 1 cup water
· 1/2 cup vegetable oil
· 2 large eggs
· 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and flour two 9-inch-round cake pans.

Combine flour, granulated sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large mixer bowl. Add milk, water, vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla extract; blend until moistened. Beat for 2 minutes (batter will be very thin). Pour into prepared pans.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

My first kits didn't release at Digital Freebies yesterday after all, but they will next Tuesday!

For a sneak peek at the first for-sale kits I will be releasing, take a peek at my new header and the last blinkie to the right and at the little preview below!

Today is another crop day! My Build-A-Cake kit is one of my very favorites and I think an hour of talking about cake will just have to be extra fun!

I have some really exciting news! Thanks to a special partnership with Gotta Pixel I am a new designer at Digital Freebies! I will have my first for-sale kits available next Tuesday, November 14th! I'm really proud of both kits!

For you Gotta Pixel members, be sure and look at the newletter closely today and don't forget my crop this afternoon!
Snowflakes! I love them! And Jennifer of Jennilyn Designs is making custom snowflakes out of your name--what a fun & generous idea! Here's the one she made for me:

If you hurry over there, she'll make one for you too!

This is my first week of daily downloads over at Gotta Pixel! Every day this week a piece of my kit, "Take the Scenic Route," is available to all members who have 30+ posts. So if you don't have 30 posts yet, get busy!

And if you haven't signed up for the newsletter yet, do it TODAY! (hint, hint!)

Tomorrow is my first of three crops, the "How'd They Do That?" topic of the month is brushes and the kit is some fun celebration brushes. I'll be talking about how to create and install brushes and how to play with the setting for some fun effects. Hopefully I'll even have a sample layout done for it!

Happy 1st Birthday Gotta Pixel! Tons of fun this month! A crop every day and lots of fun Mini Events too (where members can win prizes)! Plus, it's a new month, so that means a new group kit (the first I had a part in, I made the bows)!

Here's a preview of the kits I'm giving away in crops this month (and part of the reason I haven't been doing many layouts). See my blinkies to the right for the dates and times of the crops.
